Irma turned to Erik. "Alys. If I take Alys with me, as a handmaid for example, they might consider the proposal more seriously. A Valyrian survivor is not something easily ignored." Irma looked fairly pleased with herself upon revealing her plan. "Maester Kalland already has some rapport with her, and he serves the Tharons."

Lord Adam nodded slowly. "You and Dray could go to court with the girl. It would be good for you to learn of such things, in any case. Robert or Erik could escort you there. Courtnay and I could plan a strike on the Brentons, if one is to happen."

Dray thought it over then looked at his uncle and nodded. He realized it was probably the best resolution they could get. "Very well Father. We should probably leave soon."

Alys looked sad before replying, Big buildings, High building of Light. Grand gardens. Many big statues of Dragons. All gone.

"I think it is best if I stay here - I could help with the attack on the Brentons and defending the isle."said Erik, though he did not sound fully convinced, as if missing out on visiting court bothered him at least a little.
"I'm not fit to deal with with courtiers and plotters anyway. And I'm sure uncle Robert will handle himself just fine there he added to reassure himself and the others.
As long as he manages to not get drunk and make a fool of himself. Which I doubt he will.he thought to himself after he had finished talking
