Reliquiae
Here is another potential game in work.
Prologue: In ancient times, the Aukso Folks arrived to govern the entire continent of Zemynas. However, a mysterious disaster caused its fall, ending a golden age. It is now full of countries fighting for superiority with its people struggling to survive with the ruins of the powerful Aukso civilisation among them.
Zemynas: The continent, which has long been home to the majority of the human population, was the site of the Aukso civilisation and is notable for not only its overall large size and people but also dense and large settlements, as well as the vast barely populated regions. Many great cities are linked via the High Roads that criss-cross the continent although some are very risky to travel due to the fact such roads go through customary ranges of gryphons' Eyries.
Salynas: An archipelagic lands across the Jura Ocean containing the minority of the world population. It was initially established as a penal colony by Aukso to exile their prisoners and troublemakers too. Salynas became likewise mired in wars as its islands clashes with each other over the valuable Spice Islands.
History:
SE: Sacred Era [9,000 years ago to 3,000 years ago]
The first civilisations arise with gods, demons, fairies and their servants from the other Realms walks amidst the people. Gradually, civilisations tend to favour different influences from the realms. The Sacred Era, however, came to an end when the Aukso Folks arrived in full, conquering all four Realms in the end. Human Realm was the first to fall with the Dread Realm the last.
AE: Aukso Era [3,000 years ago to 1,500 years ago]
The Aukso Folks, despite their small population, were able to exercise their control of the Realms via their powers, gryphons, the local militia armed with rifles and other creations such as the High Roads, High Gates and Sunfire cannons. The simplified speech and written language of Aukso Folks called Aukson became the dominant language in Zemynas due to the eased communication, education and commerce the unified administration of the continent helped to create. Zemynas thrived until an enigmatic event occurred, causing widespread chaos in Zemynas by the disappearance of the Aukso Folks.
HE: Human Era [1,500 years ago to the Present]
While the fate of the Aukso Folks is heavily debated among the scholars, mages and priests, their great gryphons still flew through the air to the present, killing anyone unwise to enter Eyries' ranges with Sunfire and many of their creations and artefacts remain. The people eventually recovered from chaos and consolidated into many countries across Zemynas while the Aukson language gradually diverged into many different languages, although there are still many similarities and many concepts introduced by Auksons are still in use. The fates of the other Realms are, however, unknown to the present day, although there are more rumours of the mythical creatures appearing from other Realms than ever before and increasing reported sightings of gryphons flying through and blinding flares of Sunfires further than their customary ranges of their Eyries.
